Description

Our client is in the Transportation and Logistics Industry (Car Rentals and Fleet Management). They urgently require an experienced HR Manager with Change Management experience to execute company-wide change strategies that would lead to the solid adoption of a new company culture and employee experience. He / She would act as the chief change agent and ensure that any change has appropriate governance, transparency, and oversight. He / She would also lead and manage all HR processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as an internal HR Consultant to the business; championing and overseeing the end-to-end HR elements of organisational programmes or projects.
  • Designing and implementing HR plans to achieve the required change/restructure.
  • Working closely with senior management to provide strategic input on implementing change.
  • Managing change communication with all employees and stakeholders.
  • Driving the HR agenda by partnering with Executive Management to effectively and efficiently deliver HR programs and initiatives.
  • Implementing HR integrated solutions, programs, and strategies; as well as support and implement a full range of HR activities across the organisation.
  • Serving as a point of contact between Management and Employees to align HR strategies, procedures and business processes, while ensuring compliance with all policies, employment laws and regulations.
  • Providing guidance on all HR-related issues and needs, including workforce planning, compensation, employee relations, performance management, talent management, change initiatives, organizational design, succession planning, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identifying gaps in current workforce and setting strategy to help address business needs, and ensuring the organisation has the optimum organizational structure and the right people in the right positions for each business unit to achieve its goals.
  • Working closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build employee engagement and retention.
  • Provide guidance to management on HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Effectively resolve complex performance management, employee relations matters and complaints.
  • Keeping up to date with employment laws which may impact on employee policies or change programmes.

Key Requirements

  • 5 – 7 years HR leadership experience.
  • Proven records of working on change programmes involving significant cultural and structural change.
  • Ability to communicate information effectively both verbally and in writing to stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Ability to manage a large workforce across multiple locations.
  • Ability to set clear goals and targets, monitoring progress and holding people to account.
  • Strong relationship & stakeholder management skills.
  • Courage and determination to challenge current practices, and face resistance to change.
  • Independent and objective thinker.
  • Results/outcomes oriented, business value focused.
  • Confidence and ability to work in high-ambiguity work environment.
  • Resilient and able to manage challenge and resistance.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of employment law and its application in a change context.
  • Evidence of HR Professional Certification e.g. CIPM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
